The 2020 Cellular Bioprocess Technology short course will be held at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis, MN, as well as online on July 27–30, 2020.
The course fee is 3,800 USD for on-site participation. For registrants attending online, the fee will be 3,300 USD. To register, please fill out the registration form below. The last day of registration is July 6th, 2020.
Included in the course fee are:
- All lectures for all four days
- A copy of the course notes in binder format
- Q&A sessions
- The on-site course fee also includes coffee breaks and boxed lunches
Once your registration has been processed (allow 1–3 business days for email confirmation), an invoice will be sent to the email you provided (allow 3–7 business days). Upon receipt of the invoice, a payment via check, credit card, or electronic transfer may be made. Please note that payment must be received no later than three weeks prior to the course in order to guarantee a space.

Cancellation policy. Cancellation of registration must be made 5 weeks before the course start date to receive a full refund minus the credit card processing fee (if applicable). Cancellation between 1 and 5 weeks prior to the course will receive a refund minus a $350 fee. Cancellation within 1 week of the course will not receive a refund. By submitting the registration form, you are registering for the course, and cancellation arrangements must be made with firstname.lastname@example.org for any refund to be processed. The University reserves the right to cancel the course. Should the course be cancelled by the University, a full refund will be issued.
Visas for International Attendees. If you are an international attendee coming to the United States, please check your country’s qualifications for US visa applications. For many countries it can be a lengthy process; please allow ample time before the course to make sure you receive your visa on time. If you need an invitation letter, we would be glad to provide it—just send us an email.

Attending the Course Online
The online version of the short course, administered through Zoom conferencing, will consist of all learning resources provided during the in-person lectures. This includes a physical copy of course notes, all lectures, an Q&A sessions. Please see the video on our homepage to learn more about the teaching technologies available to us.
Attending the Course in Person
The course is held at Keller Hall on the east bank of the University of Minnesota campus in Minneapolis, MN. Registrants will receive a campus map, more detailed information about transportation and the University, and other welcome materials the week before the course.
We have secured a block of rooms at the Graduate Hotel on campus, which is about a 5-minute walk from Keller Hall. A limited number of rooms are available for the group rate of $162 per night, and availability is not guaranteed. The closest airport is Minneapolis−Saint Paul International (MSP). The Metro Transit light rail can take you directly from the airport to the Graduate Hotel and Keller Hall in about 40 minutes. It is a 25-minute trip by car.
